Natural Resources in China are depleting quickly, so it is important that the Chinese do all they can to preserve their environment. Recent steps the Chinese have taken to help ensure the future of their environment include: Radioactive Pollution Prevention Law, the conversion of 2.24 million hectares of farm lands back to forest or grass lands, the managing of China's water resources, Strengthening of Urban Environmental Protection, increased ecological preservation and a fishing ban along the Yantze River.
