The types of visa for China are:

L VISA - Issued to an alien who comes to China for sightseeing or visiting family members/friends.

F VISA - Is issued to an alien who is invited to China for a visit, an investigation, a lecture, to do business, scientific-technological and culture exchanges, short-term advanced studies or internship for a period of no more than six months.

Z VISA - Is issued to an alien who comes to China for a post or employment, and his/her accompanying family members.

X VISA - Is issued to an alien who comes to China for study, advanced studies or intern practice for a period of more than six months.

G VISA - Is issued to an alien who transits through China .

TOURIST GROUP VISA ? 1. The Tourist Group  Visa is the one that issued to a tourist group organized by the travel agency which comprises at least five (5) members who must travel together both in and out of China

2. The Tourist Group Visa is evidenced on the Group Tourist Form instead of on the individual passport.

D VISA - Is issued to an alien who comes to reside permanently in China .
