Summer Camps, 2010
 

What is it all about?

 

The nature of the activities should focus on enjoyment as well as learning. As always in the language camp, the students will be encouraged to use their English language skills at all times.

The activities may involve arts and crafts; sports; writing and singing; walking and talking; they also involve photography and drawing, coloring and painting etc. 

Foreign teachers are expected to use all of their own talents and encourage the students to develop their own talents at the camp.

The host and the foreign teachers will offer as many activities as possible which will involve all of the students every afternoon from Monday to Friday.

Activity sheets will be posted everyday. The activity, the name of the leader, the time and location of the activity, the number of students attending the activity will be noted on this activity sheet.

EVENING ACTIVITIES

Occasionally activities are held between 7:00p.m.and 9:00 p.m., the host and the foreign teachers should share and plan them jointly. This is a time for all the students to watch movies, take part in large group activities, such as:

* Team races and competition,

* Campfires, they will show their skills, talent and musical gifts, including present, national customs, and peace ceremonies,

* As well as sit-down games such as cards, chess, or pictionary.

WEEKEND ACTIVITIES

The Camp Director, local and foreign teachers have the responsibilities of planning weekend activities and travel for the whole camp. All the students will be included. The Camp Director and host staff will responsible for all organization, students attendance and supervision.
